The reason for conducting a price analysis is not to "justify" the proposed price but rather to determine whether it is "fair and reasonable". The price analysis is then used to negotiate with the supplier if the analysis price is less than the proposed price. Be sure to document any and all negotiations.
If, however, negotiations do not yield a price that aligns with the price analysis, SpendLogic recommends referring to company policies and procedures on how to proceed and/or conferring with your company's compliance focal.
