Often times suppliers will offer discounts or trade-in credits on a quote. So where do you enter this information when conducting your competitive analysis?
On the "Bid Details" portion of the analysis, click the ellipses (...) to bring up the Bid Details for the particular Bidder (see below). You will enter the Bid Price as well as the Bid Adjustment.
Enter the per unit discount as a Bid Adjustment and provide the Bid Adjustment Rationale. NOTE: Bid adjustments can be either positive or negative. Therefore, if you are applying a discount, be sure to enter a negative number.
The Bid Adjustment will be explained and reflected in the final analysis report (see below)
