Teleworking (or remote work) has become commonplace in government contracting since the pandemic. Prior to the coronavirus, teleworking on a government-funded contract was rare and required prior approval from the contracting authority.
With flexible work arrangements being offered by companies to attract the best and brightest, we are presented with how to analyze the labor rate for a remote worker when the Work Location is neither at the company's office nor at a USG site.
SpendLogic's position at this point in time is to select the Customer option as the Work Location. The dropdown will be updated to reflect Customer/Telework.
