What These Errors Mean
✅ SpendLogic-Side Errors
If a user sees either:
- A blank white screen, or
- The error message: “Something bad happened”
…it means the login request successfully reached SpendLogic’s servers, but something went wrong during processing. These are SpendLogic-side issues, and our support or development team will investigate.
Common causes include:
- The email address used to log in does not match the one configured in SpendLogic.
- The user profile is marked as Inactive.
- The company may have changed email domains (e.g., from
@company.com
to@newcompany.com
), causing a mismatch with SSO.
❌ Login Failure Before Reaching SpendLogic
If the user experiences a login failure without seeing either the blank white screen or the “Something bad happened” message, the request likely did not reach SpendLogic’s servers. This points to an internal IT issue.
Possible internal causes:
- Network restrictions or firewall blocks
- SSO misconfiguration
- Browser or device security settings
Action:
The user should contact their internal IT department to investigate and resolve the issue.
